Student Programs

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory offers students many employment and research opportunities:

Students who are employed here through JPL's Human Resources Staffing and Employment Programs are expected to prepare for a career through obtaining on-the-job hands on experience working in an engineering, scientific or administrative section at JPL. Students participating in these programs usually receive monetary compensation in the form of an hourly wage or stipend and may be eligible for other benefits.

Students who are here through JPL's Education Office are expected to conduct research, engineering, or technology projects in collaboration with their mentors. Students participating in these programs usually have educational requirements to meet and some programs offer a stipend.
